Work Guaranteed: Policy Advocacy Discussion Week 1 Guide

Identify a problem that regularly occurs in your clinical practice setting. Frame the problem as a health policy. Decide what policies/procedures/regulations would need to be in place to improve the problem. Discuss two ways you will advocate for your policy.

Instructions:

• You should contribute your first post no later than Wednesday 11:59PM EST
• Follow up the posts of your classmates and faculty, and responses to your own posts no later than Sunday 11:59PM EST
• Please use headings in your discussion submission
• The initial post should be a minimum word count of approximately 500 words with at least two references in APA format
• Responses to two different classmates are required
• Responses should be a minimum of 125-word count and include at least one reference
• Your discussion and responses will be graded according to the included grading rubric.
