Using the adult learning strategies and your learning from TSC1, facilitate a team to develop a collaborative instructional improvement plan (action plan) from, or based on, your school or district improvement plan. This can be for content, department, or grade level improvement, including coaching experiences designed to support improvements in classroom instructional practices in your school, grade level, or department. Your protégé teacher MUST be part of this group. This plan could also include the professional learning goals your protégé has set for herself/himself as long as it is aligned with the school improvement plan. Your plan must include:
The school’s or district’s vision and mission statements are listed at the top of the plan.
Goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, and realistic with target dates for completion (SMART Goals).
New and challenging tasks for the teachers
Actions defined that will enable the teachers to demonstrate, practice, and deepen new learning.
Identification of a willing protege and/or teachers for practice
Identification of resources used to practice
A schedule agreed upon time to practice
