Student requested a meeting on Monday 8/31/2026 at 11am via TEAMS as per student
request. Student did not show for meeting and did not email prior to inform Professor
Meyer, they could not attend. Student reported they "got the days mixed up". Rescheduled
meeting for 9/4/26 at 10am via TEAMS as per student request. Student did not show for
meeting and did not inform Professor Meyer, they could not attend prior to meeting. Spoke
with student in person on Tuesday 9/8/2026. College closed 9/5/26-9/7/26 for Labor Day.
Student reported they "forgot" meeting on Friday. We discussed professionalism and
accountability moving forward regarding either attending scheduled meetings or informing
faculty prior to start of meeting that they could not attend.

Directions: The student must write a 500-word Clinical Practice Reflection Paper focused
on the specific incident and its impact on professional practice and submit their draft to
the writing center for comments/feedback. Students are required to complete the Clinical
Practice Reflection Paper in handwritten format unless an approved accommodation
through Disability Support Services (DSS) authorizes an alternative format.
Final submission to the course coordinator must include the draft with comments from the
writing center, the name of the writing center tutor and their signature below, the final
version, and their evidence-based references (minimum of 3 published within the past 5
years) by one week from notification of the occurrence. This assignment must be in APA
Format.
