This assignment requires you to apply concepts from Module 1 to a social issue of your choice retrieved from the OER textbook “Social Problems Continuity and Change”, e.g., “Poverty”. Then, you will find TWO(2) news articles related to your selected problem –“poverty” and reflect upon this topic using the module's concepts addressed in this module. Pay attention if the news articles' narratives differ.
You can submit your module application either as a short-written analysis (1-2 pages max) or as a vlog (around 2 minutes). If you have another idea, like an infographic or a social media post, let's discuss it. Whichever format you choose, your application must include the following:
Clearly indicate the title, author, and outlet of your news article Clearly explain the concept(s) from course material you’re applying IMPORTANT
