Explain how you would use your understanding of each of the major theories of development (Piaget, Erikson, and Kholberg) to deal with both of the “difficulties” listed below. Specifically, (1) what stage are these individuals in?; (2) what is the issue/focus of this stage?; (3) how do you help them navigate this stage?.
Your teenager has decided not to attend college in favor of joining the stage crew for a touring rock band.
Your sixty-eight-year-old neighbor is chronically depressed and feels she has wasted her life.
