You are required to develop a professional report outlining the economic and social impact of the Yorkshire Marathon. You will be provided with a data set and required to analyse this data to generate insight and recommendations for the Yorkshire Marathon Organising Committee.
Task
Then, to get you thinking about research. Think about a decision you’ve made recently (either work or personal) and consider the ‘research’ you did to make it:
What information or prior knowledge did you use to help make this decision?
What was the source of this information?
Was this information enough and good enough?
How did it help in making the decision?
This could be something small, such as deciding which cereal to choose for breakfast or something big, like where to go on holiday this year. Try to incorporate some of the types of research and elements of the process within your answer.
