Assessment Details and Instructions
Identify the core issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples (Australia) in today’s society. Critically reflect and discuss some of the myriad of challenges facing social workers when working at a grassroots level with First Nations Australians. Utilising the knowledge gained from your lectures, identify ways in which to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People from an Indigenous standpoint. Explore and discuss the relevance of the AASW Code of Ethics and its application for working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.

The Essay will:

Have a clear introduction to provide the reader with a roadmap through your essay
