Analyze a problem in the community, resulting in a logical and ethical relationship between the problem or issue and a proposed prevention program, addressing risk and protective factors, and citing scholarly sources.

Some of this assignment will be based on the assignments you have developed previously in this course. This final assignment should be 12-15 pages in length, not including title page, table of contents, and references. It should use at least 15 resources, including 12 peer-reviewed, scholarly references and three dissertations. Be sure to develop headings and subheadings and provide transitions within your narratives as needed to guide the reader.
Include the following components, in this order:
Executive Summary
The executive summary should present a concise summary of the proposed program based on your
program theory that very briefly summarizes:
• Problem or issue statement.
• Population to be served.
• Community needs and assets.
• Desired results: outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
• Influential factors.
• Strategies: A brief description of program.
• Assumptions.
• Conclusion. Conclude with your vision statement.
The executive summary, in lieu of an abstract, should be the last section you write, in no more than 1- pages.
Statement of Need and Research Basis for Program: Literature Review
This portion of your paper will primarily be an edited version of previous assignments with improvements based on feedback from your instructor. In this section:
• Analyze a problem in the community, resulting in a logical and ethical relationship between the problem or issue and a proposed prevention program, addressing risk and protective factors, and citing scholarly sources.
• Synthesize the research literature, identifying risk and protective factors related to the identified problem and target population, including cultural, ethical, and legal considerations in the development and implementation of the proposed prevention program.
• Evaluate the conclusions and findings of evidence-based or best practice programs or models related to the prevention of the identified problem to inform and substantiate the proposed program design.
Begin this section with a statement of need, describing the problem that the program will address. Us
content from the program rationale you developed in the first assignment. Discuss the related risk and
protective factors. Also, describe the population that will be served and relevant ethical or cultural
factors that may influence your program development. Describe at least two strategies you might use
to conduct a needs assessment. What information would be important to gather in preparation for
developing your program? Use at least three current peer-reviewed journal articles and dissertations t
substantiate the need for your proposed program.
To form a research basis for your program planning, prepare a literature review focused on the probler
your target population, and evidence-based or best practices related to your proposed solutions to
