Serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, remains one of the most nutorious serial killer in history. John murdered 33 boys and young men during a six year period in the 1970s. Note, he was also well-liked in the community he lived in and would often dress up for kid’s parties, earning himself the nickname Killer Clown. After watching the video, answer the following questions:

1. What mitigating factors do you believe contributed to his sadistic and killer behavior? List and elaborate.

2. What theory of crime do you believe best explains his motive for committing these hedious crimes? Elaborate.

3. John never took responsibility for his crimes and plenty of times blamed his victims and the victim’s parents, why do you believe John felt this way? Elaborate.
