We’re currently collaborating with a supplier to develop e-learning courses, and one of our key goals is to ensure full compliance with WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards. While the supplier is responsible for applying these standards, we want to take proactive steps to validate and maintain accessibility throughout the development process.
We’re particularly looking for:
- Trusted accessibility testing tools (preferably web-based) that provide detailed insights.
- Recommended devices or platforms for comprehensive accessibility testing (e.g., desktop vs. tablet).
- Ways to generate clear and actionable accessibility reports.
- Proven best practices from teams who’ve successfully built accessible learning experiences.
During our research, we came across Ikonic Dev (https://ikonicdev.com/) , a software firm that has implemented accessibility compliance in multiple digital learning solutions. If anyone has experience using their approach, tools, or can share similar case studies, that would be incredibly helpful.
