Read and consider the materials about Bias: Multi-stakeholder and bias considerations

Think about your own organization and your personal decision making and reflect on the following prompts:

  • Which biases have you observed at work? What were the consequences?
  • Which biases have you been blind to yourself? What were the consequences?

The materials include a checklists for decision making and a template for screening for bias. Think about a decision (work or personal) that you’ve had to make recently and work through the decision making checklist. Which of the elements did you consider? Where were the gaps? How might you deal with a similar decision differently last time?
