THEME 1: ANALYSIS: THE NEXT BIG DISRUPTION
Description: Using the information from the book, Dual Transformation: How to Reposition Today’s Business While Creating the Future, make an educated guess on the next big disruption.
First, create the case by describing the product or service, the industry, and the major disruption.
Second, employ figures 1-1 and 1-2, set the stage with an explanation the current top organization, how/when they reached the top, and an overview of the competitors.
Third, explain the emergence of the disruption. Will one of the current competitors develop the disruption or will new company emerge to take over the top?
Fourth, describe why the original company lost the top position. What factors played into their inability to change?
THEME 2: ANALYSIS: WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO SAVE […]
Description: Using the information from the book, Dual Transformation: How to Reposition Today’s Business While Creating the Feature, analyze a real disruption that caused the leader of the industry to lose its place of prominence.
First, create the case by describing the product or service, the industry, and the major disruption.
Second, employ figures 1-1 and 1-2, set the stage with an explanation the original top organization, how/when they reached the top, and a brief overview of the competitors.
Third, explain the emergence of the disruption. Did one of the current competitors develop the disruption or did new company emerge to take over the top?
Fourth, describe why the original company lost the top position. What factors played into their inability to change? Were they able to predict their precarious position? What happened to the competitors are they still relevant?
THEME 3: ANALYSIS: AN EVALUATION OF YOUR ORGANIZATION
Description: Using the Appendix: Dual Transformation Toolkit from the book, Dual Transformation: How to Reposition Today’s Business While Creating the Feature, create an analysis of your organization.
Complete all 11 sections of the toolkit.
Include a conclusion that includes your assessment of the toolkit.

Length: The Presentation is to be a total of 10 minutes. You will want to ensure that you included all of the items of analysis that are required with the analysis theme that you chose.
Citation: Include a formal bibliography at the end of the presentation. Ensure that if you are using data or quoting directly from a source you need to include that inside your presentation.
Students are required to write their own papers, presentations, etc. and properly cite sources. Students may not submit the exact assignment for two or more courses (you may use ideas from one paper to inspire another paper).
