For this task, assume that you have been approached by your marketing director regarding senior leadership’s desires to expand into additional international markets. Your director is concerned whether potential challenges only face your industry, or if challenges are universal in nature. Consequently, you have been asked to present your findings at the next marketing manager’s meeting.

Conduct research of three global companies from different industries by examining their channel design and development. Assess each company’s channel strategy, and judge the differences and the similarities with its competitors’ strategy.

Then, create a PowerPoint presentation that provides a complete evaluation of the three companies for your upcoming meeting.

Be sure to include the following information in your presentation:

Document each company’s current channel strategy.
Determine and explain the reasoning behind this channel strategy selection.
Illustrate how each company’s competitive position and channel conflict relate to its channel selection.
Relate each company’s channel design to the country in which the company is conducting business. Explain to your audience whether or not the design selection is appropriate for specific countries.
Provide recommendations for the three companies to illustrate potential channel strategies for your company’s international expansion.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.

Support your presentation with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.

Length: 12 slides (with a separate reference slide)

Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
