Each case study will include a thesis
statement; a moral philosophy that is defined, cited/quoted from the from a Journal Article
and Lexis Nexis utilizing the CUI Online Library. The citation is applied to a portion: a scene, a
person or a behavior from the case study from the case. This is also cited in APA formatting.
After each Chapter assigned reading found in the Schedule of Assignments, students will complete a reflective paper summarizing and synergizing the readings and discussions using
case study responses. An in-depth analysis of assigned case studies is required. The
issue/thesis statement begin with a statement: for instance, as an example: “Whether X
corporation was ethical by doing…” The Conclusion statement is a minimum of a substantial
paragraph based upon the findings in the analysis section and answers the thesis statement.
Lessons learned are included in the conclusion. Conclusions are supported by detailedpersuasive
analysis. Case studies include a cover page; are between 2-7 pages; double
spaced: font is Times New Roman, 12 point; 1 inch margins all around and follows
standardized 6th edition APA style formatting. Strong argumentation includes evidence found in scholarly journals, data, the bible, and moral philosophies. Values are an essential part of the analysis of every argumentative situation. Consider values in scientific argument and values in religion. Is there a relation of science and religion? Values are normally treated as
positive (freedom) or they can be concrete (the Constitution). Specific questions per case
study are addressed.
