For this activity, you will prepare a Pecha Kucha presentation using the Course Learning Outcomes as a guide (see the Course Syllabus). Pecha Kucha, pronounced “pe-chach-ka”, is a presentation format first begun in Japan. A speaker typically presents 20 slides, discussing each slide for no more than 20 seconds, in a live setting. This format, called 20×20, feels quite similar to fast TED Talks and has become very popular all around the world, allowing anyone to present on anything in an engaging and creative way. This course uses a modified Pecha Kucha approach, in which each of the four Pecha Kucha Presentation activities require a varying number of slides presented in varying time frames. See Activity 1.3 – Preview: Pecha Kucha Presentations for complete requirements. See each activity for specific content format guidelines. Discussion may be in either audio or caption format for the activities, with audio formats requiring an accompanying transcript.

Choose a type of aircraft and describe two considerations engineers examine in choosing the aircraft design. Examples could be swept wing, winglets, T-tail, or any other different type of aircraft design. Share what you know about the design and the history behind it. You may use any resources, internal or external to the course, to identify the various types of aircraft design. Be sure to properly cite and reference sources for all content.
