Research Scenario: A sports psychologist wants to examine the relationship between hours spent sleeping and hours spent training per week for longdistance cyclists. He collects data from 23 different athletes, including the average amount of sleep per night for each cyclist and the average number of hours per week spent training. Conduct a Pearson correlation coefficient analysis to determine whether there is a relationship between these two variables.
 Paste SPSS output (3 pts). Beneath the output, type the answers to the following questions:
 Is the correlation between average daily sleep and average time spent training positive or negative? How do you know this? (3 pts)
 Is the correlation between hours of sleep and hours of training significant or not? How do you know this? (3 pts)
 Create a scatterplot that demonstrates the relationship between amount of sleep and hours of training. (4 pts)
 Write an APAstyle Results section based on your analysis. Use the answers to the above questions to help you. All homework Results sections should follow the example given in the SPSS tutorials. Remember to include a decision about the null hypothesis. (4 pts)
