To complete your first essay, take some time to review Harvard’s Pluralism Project at . Make your argument clear and use the readings/discussions we have presented in class in order to corroborate your position. You should use 2-3 specific examples from our course material but allow the overall breadth of our work to inform your position. If you choose to use one of the early theorists in your argument, you must use of the other sources as well. (One early theorist and one contemporary scholar will suffice.) Ultimately, you will not be graded on which stance you argue but rather how effectively you can demonstrate that you understand and can apply the things we have done in class.
